Samantha completed her Master of Social Work program at Walden University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Idaho. She has served children with developmental disabilities in the Treasure Valley area for the better part of the last 10 years. She is experienced in utilizing trauma-informed care, prioritizes building rapport, and collaborates with clients to develop the skills they need to flourish.
Samantha recognizes the value of family systems theory and engages clients through active and reflexive listening to identify and implement the necessary supports. She works to empower clients by recognizing and building upon their strengths and resilience. She has successfully used approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a client-centered framework.
Samantha has three dogs at home and enjoys spending time in nature as often as possible, whether paddleboarding, hiking, or traveling to new places.
