Program Manager
Cole Sewall is the program manager for Avery’s House. Married to Lori, Cole is a dedicated father to his two wonderful children, eleven-year-old Kalen and six-year-old Christen. Born and raised in Emmett Idaho, Cole has a deep-rooted connection to the outdoors, finding joy in activities such as hiking, snowboarding, camping, hunting, and wakeboarding.
Prior to his current role at Avery’s House, Cole was a residential manager for Idaho Youth Ranch and an operations manager at Gemba. His extensive professional background also includes fifteen years at Cherry Gulch Therapeutic Boarding School and three years at Novitas Academy, both therapeutic boarding school settings. During his time at these institutions, Cole fulfilled various roles, culminating as residential director.
Throughout his career, Cole has honed a diverse skill set in the residential field. He has completed numerous facilitator trainings, becoming certified as a Satori S.A.M.A facilitator, a youth care practitioner, a T.C.I. facilitator, a facilitator in the Arbinger Institute Model, and a C.R.M. trauma-informed care facilitator. He has also been certified by the Crisis Prevention Institute. His expertise spans various intervention programs, encompassing de-escalation techniques, crisis prevention programs, leadership strategies, and residential treatment best practices.
Passionate about supporting struggling youth and young adults, Cole finds fulfillment in creating programs and systems geared toward engaging individuals in treatment and imparting essential life skills.
